Keep Pathways Clean
Tip # 4 Contributed By: Caregiver Gloria

When addressing residents, I always look them directly in the eye and always position myself at eye level. If they are in a wheelchair, I go down on my knees when talking. If they are hard of hearing I may write things on a notepad to communicate. Also, it really helps to give space when talking and to take the time to 'really' listen.
